Types of Dubai Visa: Definition, Validity, and Fee 

96-Hour Visa

This visa type is most suitable for travellers that intend staying in the city for a period, less than 4 days as it expires after 96 hours, as its name suggests. This visa costs ₦13,400.

14-Day Visa

A 14-day visa is for a short-term single entry visit as it is not extendable beyond 14 days from the date of issue. This visa type goes for ₦33,110.

30-Day Visa

Like a 14-day visa, this type is also for short-term single entry visit and is not extendable after staying for 30 days in Dubai. Valid for 58 days from the issue date, the visa is strictly for a family travelling for tourist purposes. The cost of a 30-day Multi Entry Short-Term Visa is ₦66,325.

90-Day Visa

The validity of this Dubai visa type is 90 days. It is best suited for travellers visiting the city on a holiday or for the purpose of checking on family and friends. The fee of a 90-day visa is ₦68,880 while that of the same visa type (Multi Entry Long Term) is ₦168,525

Please Note: The cost of cancellation of visa application is ₦10,950. You should make all payments at the VFS Dubai Visa Application Centre and are to collect an electronic receipt when paying.

Dubai Visa Requirements

Travelers must hold a valid visa to visit Dubai. The under-listed documents are needed for all UAE visa types:

• A Nigerian passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months
• A visa application form(ensure that all your information supplied in filling out this form is in BLOCK LETTERS and that your signature is duly appended on it)
• A document serving as evidence of health insurance
• Photocopies of your identity card as well as passport (valid and expired visas inclusive)
• A document showing your financial status such as a copy of your recent statement of account, which shows you hold enough funds to stay in Dubai
• A document serving as proof of hotel reservation
• A photocopy of your authentic itinerary (visitors that don’t have a return ticket may not be granted entry at the airport)
• For Tourists: If you are a tourist, you’ll be required to present a letter from your employer that states you’re on leave and that you’ll be resuming your job on returning to Nigeria. For self-employed tourists: They are to provide a copy of their business registration as well as tax documents
• For travellers intending to visit relatives or friends: If you are travelling to Dubai to visit your family or friends, you are required to present a letter of invitation from your host
• Such letter will state your host’s address, their contact information; their signature and date.

How to Apply for Dubai Visa Online

Having looked at the requirements for Dubai visa application, you can now get all the necessary documents, form, etc. ready. The next step is to visit the Visa Application Center, VAC, closest to your location and apply for their visa to the United Arab Emirates.

This option is only available if you have a confirmed ticket on Emirates Airlines. You should make sure you go with all original documents are presented at VAC for verification purposes.

Please Note: Ensure that you use cultured photos and that their dimension is 4.3 x 5.5cm, with a white background preferably. Attach all supporting documents required. Ensure that your application is complete as applications that are incomplete will be rejected.

• Provide every required document
• Pay the fee for your visa application

• Your passport must not expire for a minimum of 6 months after leaving the United Arab Emirates
